Born & raised in Northern Illinois, Lara Bell grew up with a strong love for country music, heavily influenced by the intricate storytelling of the 60s and 70s. At 14, she picked up a guitar and discovered her love for songwriting. Originally trained in musical theatre and classical dance all her life, Lara always knew she wanted to live onstage, and since 2013, has made that happen in the wonderful world of country music.
Since 2013, Lara has brought her love of the stage to life by captivating audiences with her angelic voice and emotionally resonant lyrics. Known for her smooth vocal control and a tone often described as “sweet as honey,” her sound evokes the warmth of a vintage country jukebox, paired with a lyrical style that draws listeners in from the very first note.
As an independent artist, Lara has performed extensively across Illinois, Wisconsin, and Tennessee at renowned venues and festivals. Her band has shared the stage with major country acts such as Jameson Rodgers, Lauren Alaina, and Brantley Gilbert, earning her recognition as a standout live performer.
In 2025, Lara is focusing on expanding her presence in Nashville, TN, with new music releases and ongoing collaborations. Grounded in her small-town roots but driven by big-stage ambition, Lara Bell continues to carve out her path as one of country music’s most heartfelt and compelling rising voices.
Hailing from Brisbane Australia, Sean originally started his music career studying jazz saxophone at the Queensland Conservatorium of Music. After moving abroad with stints in Europe and Asia Sean eventually found his way to Chicago in 2020 where he can be found producing local singer songwriters, playing saxophone at downtown nightclubs and slinging his fender telecaster with the Lara Bell Band.
Multi-instrumentalist Craig Schwartz Jr. resides in Northern Illinois. From fixing garage doors to playing live venues, this hunk of a man will “get ‘er done”. Born into a musical family, he found a love for learning and performing with various instruments. In the Lara Bell Band, he plays bass and sings harmonies as well as accompanies some of her solo shows on the cajon.
Rock inspired drummer Justin Haymond is the backbone of the Lara bell band. Coming from a background of carpentry, Justin spends the week building and creating modern architecture. Rock converted to country drummer dedicates his weekends to family, friends, and rock solid percussion.
